Mercury email SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: [email protected]

on the same thing my problem comes when am sending test mail to my customers.
am using Mercury/32 ver 4.62 and have configured the email accounts given in the E-book.using the domain example.com since am doing a local installation.
Am also using [B]thunderbird ver 3.1.11[/B] but the same error keeps recurring my Email options looks like these

At a minimum this needs to be a valid email server

There is no need to set up Mercury Mail on your localhost in order to work with Zen Cart.
