Mod that allows for partial refund of product "deposit" when returned?

Hello,

I have a general question.

A client is wanting the ability to have a shopping cart that can allow their customers to return the product for a partial refund?

Is this something that is possible with zen-cart? - either through 1.39h, or someone's mod?

My client will be selling crates, however if their customer brings the crate back after the customer has used it, my client wants to be able to give the customer a small token dollar amount back, for returning the crate, as my client can then re-use the crate.
