    help question Salemaker Not Working?!?

    I am using version v1.3.9f. I have just recently moved servers and this is the first sale since the move. I am trying to set a new sale and have already deleted all the old sales out of Zen. When I try to put the new sale in it goes and I get the green active light but when I go to the store, the old sale is still showing. I need help quick!

    Anybody out there know what might be causing this?

    Ok I just went into my Zen Admin and the sale is showing in there just not on the actual store page. Don't know what this means but I am getting some angry customers because the sale we advertised isn't working!! Please SOMEONE HELP ME!!

    It almost sounds as though you're using two different databases.

    Do your 2 configure.php files have the SAME settings in them for DB_DATABASE and DB_PREFIX and DB_USERNAME, DB_PASSWORD?
    If not, then your admin is using a different set of data than your storefront, which would explain the symptoms you're reporting.

    Ok It does seem we have 2 databases. How do I fix them? I went in and just deleted all the sales. But I didn't see the settings you mentioned. Where do I find those?

    I already told you that the problem is in your 2 configure.php files, but your reply suggests you have no clue what I'm talking about. But, if you've just moved servers then you would have had to deal with your 2 configure.php files in order to do so. Which begs the question: what exactly is going on here? Seems to be a whole lotta history missing here.

    I am just asking a question for the owner of the store. I am her manager, and I have owned a store before. I didn't install anything and we moved servers. We can't get our salesmaker to work. I know it isn't anything to do with the host. I have been in there with my old store. This has to be a zen issue. We got someone to do the moving part for us. I have been telling the owner the problem and she tells the person who moved us. It is a very involved issue and I would rather not go into it here. Needless to say, we still can't get the sales to work at all. The deleted sales ARE gone, but I can't get a new sale to work.

    I have another question too, how do we get our Zen to go back to 7 days to download the product? It keeps going to 0 days to download for the customer. This is frustrating because this is a digital scrapbooking store and it is hard to explain unless you have been in a store like this.

    There are 2 configure.php files:
    /includes/configure.php
    /your-admin-folder/includes/configure.php

    3/4 down the file you'll see several DB_XXXXXXX settings. These lines need to be the same in both files. So, pick whichever set is correct, and make them the same in the other file.

    Thanks for the help, I posted your reply to the person who moved the store and she was able to fix it.
