I've had success setting up my cart so that the "weight" of a product equates to the cost of shipping, which is then shown in the checkout page. For example, I have a book selling at £9.99 with a "weight" of 1.5, which adds a £1.50 shipping cost.
Now I am looking at creating zones so the shipping rates are higher for countries outside of the UK. I have read https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=69 several times so I understand it.
However, how is this going to work alongside the current method I have for UK shipping which I am happy with?
I just want to add an extra £1 when shipping to European countries outside the UK and an extra £2 for the rest of the world.
(those shipping rates are just an example).
Many thanks for your help.
