Default which XAMPP version shoud I use?

    Hi:
My former version got a hacker. I have just decided to start from scratch again and be more careful this time.

I have dowloaded what I believe is the latest zen-cart version
    v1.39h

I would like to know which XAMPP version would work the best for the installation of this latest zen-cart version?
    Thanks,
    Marlake

NOTE: You should not be running a live site on XAMPP. It's NOT secure, and NOT built to run live websites.

As to installing it locally on your PC for development/testing purposes, Zen Cart 1.3.9 runs on PHP 5.2.3 or newer, and MySQL 4.1 or newer. Pick a XAMPP version that meets those requirements.

As DrByte says, no way should a live site be run on xampp. It's a development stack and way to insecure for live use.

For Zen Cart dev purposes, there's really not a lot of difference between the versions, just grab the latest. The only reason to go with another would be if your webserver was really out-of-date and you wanted to replicate it. But a better solution then would be to upgrade the webserver (or change webhosts).
