Will 1.5 beta be submitted to ZC's recommended hosts any time soon? I'm hosting with one of them but they don't have that version and I would like to install via simple scripts if possible.

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.
Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
I think Kim's point is that 1.5 won't be submitted anywhere until it comes out of beta. Though the certified hosts are free to come get it, and those who are Zen Cart specialists are probably familiarising themselevs with it already.
Even after it comes out of beta, it may take the script installers a while to catch up though, as PCI compliance requirements seem to have added a little extra to the installation process.

You should be installing directly yourself anyway. Automated installers are bad choices, especially if they ALSO offer "automated" upgrades. NO UPGRADES SHOULD EVER BE DONE AUTOMATICALLY with v1.x.x.
