Add Custom Menu / Submenus in Admin Panel

Hello,

I wish to add custom menu and submenus in the admin panel header. Please let me know how do I make it.

Also I wish to call different pages from these menu and submenus. Please let me know how do I create these pages and call these from respective links.

What are the menus and pages supposed to do?

In 1.3.9 you add entries to the admin/includes/boxes folder. There are lots of examples in there to show you how that works - look at any other than the configure and modules menus both of which are unusual.

However, in the 1.5 beta release this box system is done away with in favor of a database driven system which works completely differently.

Which version are you targeting?

My version is 1.3.9h. Is there any way can I add menus and submenus from admin panel? Or I need to create pages.

No. There's no provision in 1.3.9 for adding pages through the admin. And normally, yes, you would need to add pages too, otherwise what are these new menus and items for?
