Checkout and password problems after upgrading from 1.3.8 to 1.3.9

I upgraded from 1.3.8 to 9h with a new install and new order stats module. I have linkpoint turned on and money order checks module turned on. Now when I run an order everything looks like it is working till the final stage of pressing Confirm order. When the customer clicks the confirm order button it goes back to main page and leaves the items in their cart. I have check payment mods, reinstalled the checkout.php page and still get this error.


Another note, It is not saving the users password, It will not let me log in untill I do a forget password, then the new password works till I run out of time in the cart then I have to ask for another password. I don't know if that is relevant or not.
