Use an image as background? pure black template

The site has a splash screen and I need the background of it to be on zencart. Any ideas?

You should be able to add this to the body rule in the stylesheet:

background-image: url(../images/body_bg.jpg);

and copy that image to includes/templates/black_pure_free/images.

A better question would be why you want that 'splash screen' . As a potential customer, it just makes me make one more click for no apparent reason to get to the stuff you want me to buy.

Tried it, still nothing.
The splash was to give it a better look due to me not being able to customize the cart the way I wanted it.
