Inventory Program

Does anyone know of any add-ons or external programs/software that can handle inventories (stock, status of orders, etc.).

Basically, the problem is that we are using Zen Cart as a middle man, a means for multiple employees to reorder supplies, and our inventory department is ordering from other companies. Thus we don't need to have to have products in stock for customers to order, but we do need to keep track of them so we don't over-order when we DO.

(Some more additional problems include units (each, box, case, etc.), and having multiple duplicates of the same product in different departments (so that we can control who orders what)). Any advice would be appreciated!

I use FrontAccounting to keep track of inventory, as well as for general accounting. There is a module that imports orders from Zen Cart.
