    Default Some e-mails send out and others do not!

    Hello dear friends,

    I have a weard thing going on with e-mails...

    All direct e-mails, welcome e-mail, newsletter e-mail, e-mail trough the contact us form, forgotten password ... send out OK

    All other mail does not!

    The most important: New Order, doesnt send both for customer and i don't recieve the copy!

    For the welcome mail it's another thing... the customer recieves the Welcome e-mail, but I don't recieve the copy of the account creation e-mai...

    Anyone have a clue?

    Check your spam box.
    This was happening to me and I found out that the messages where going into my spam box because the initial login email that the customers provided were incorrect so their Order Conformation & Welcome Letter was in my spam box.

    More clues... I can see the e-mails that aren't recieved in the "E-mail Archive Manager" and they appear as sent.. but when I try to resend I get an error:

    Could not instantiate mail function. Please check Admin->Configuration->Email Options->Email Transport.

    So, you're saying that emails *suddenly* stopped arriving, and now you're in some sort of major crisis and about to have a heart attack?

    When did this problem suddenly start happening? What changed around that time? hosting company change something on the servers? you change something in your store? you send out mass email blast and get blacklisted? hosting company change spam policies? etc etc etc etc etc

    Also, when you click the Reply button below, as you've done several times in this thread, please read the Posting Tips section that you've ignored each time, and include the answers to those questions here. You'll get help much faster that way. Without enough information nobody wants to spend their precious time guessing at your issue nor asking you to give the information that's already asked for when you're posting. Sorry if you find that offensive, but the information really is important.

    The answer to your questions:


    When did this problem suddenly start happening? - after I duplicated a previous store to a new domain with chamges only to the visual side of the shop!
    What changed around that time? - Nothing that I know of...
    hosting company change something on the servers? - No, I had aconversation with them today... nothing has changed for the passed months!
    you change something in your store? - nope... exept some theme parts and store name
    you send out mass email blast and get blacklisted? - no never done that
    hosting company change spam policies? - no, it's the same

    - I did all of that... nothing helped!

    To summarizze what i know right now:

    All direct e-mails, welcome e-mail, newsletter e-mail, e-mail trough the contact us form, forgotten password ... send out OK

    All e-mails are in the "E-mail archive manager" but when I try to resent the problematic ones I get an error: Could not instantiate mail function. Please check Admin->Configuration->Email Options->Email Transport. - My hosting company only supports PHP which is the method I've chosen!

    Hosting company checked their mail server logs and confirmed that the problematic mail is nowhere to be found on their mailserver!
