Attribute Image Popup Mods or Solutions

What I need: attribute images to enlarge for a close up either onClick or mouse over.

What I've looked into:
Attribute Pop-Up (Large Images) - No longer supported.
Popup on Attribute Images - No threads and put out in 2006
Attribute image replaces main product image on selecting attribute - Major issues/not working

None are listed on the thread "138 mods tested on 139".

As I am new to Zen Cart I am hesitant to add mods, let alone ones that are not being supported or appear to be long dead.

Is anyone using either of these mods or something else that can do the same thing with v1.3.9d?

I'm looking for the same and is running Zen Cart 1.3.8a.

I've tried to install:

1. attribute_popup_large_images_1-0-3
2. attrib_image_module
3. popup_on_attribute_images_1.


ad1. didn't work at all (apart from a hand at the mouse over)

ad2. worked only by removing my attribute images and show them on the main image, only in the same small size.

ad3. does open a new window but only with the same image in the same size. You might be able to change that. At least that's my plan.

PS. I have Image Handler 2.0 installed as well and this add on could be the culprit for attribute_popup_large_images_1-0-3 not working.

This type of mod would be a great add-on.

On some product pages, my attributes images are displayed, but on others they are not. The factor that affects the display is the number of addition images that are displayed on the page using the additional images module. On some pages, i have to put one additional image for the attribute images to display, on other pages I need to take off all additional images for the attribute images to display. I guess it's a layout problem, but I can't find it.

This page shows the attribute image working, but if I were to remove the additional image, the attribute images would not display.
