Orders not showing up

I am having problems with orders not showing up. I had no issues with the first 2 orders I received. The third order didn't show up on my admin page so the only way I knew that I sold something was from a paypal notification. I tried doing some test orders, one using money order option and the other using the paypal option. Both orders showed up on my admin page (even the paypal order without me actually paying).

This last order that I received - same thing. I only knew about it from paypal notification. I tried doing the same test orders again but this time the order that I used paypal as the payment method did not show up.

All of the settings are okay as far as I can tell. I haven't changed any of them since I first set things up and the first two orders I had showed up on the admin page.

Has anyone else had this issue?

What ZenCart version are you using?
What PayPal module are you using?

And other what's that you can supply

ZenCart is v1.3.9h
Paypal is the Standard-IPN (is this the correct info?)

Click "Remove" on the PayPal-IPN (Website Payments Standard) module, and then click "Install" on the PayPal Express Checkout module, and configure it: www.zen-cart.com/getpaypal

Paypal worked fine until I went to 1.3.9h (although I only just moved from 1.38)

Thanks for the support (and I do appreciate the freeness of the support), I installed paypal express and it turned my website into a giant paypal advertisement.

While I accept I need to offer paypal as a payment option, I don't really like the full integrated Paypal all over my page telling people not to trust me with their purchase.

The simple IPN function is better for us as we have to fraud check every order manually anyway.

Basically I get the payment but no order, the customer does not get order confirmation. Its like the IPN_main_handler is broken some how.

Problem is I tried to test it but Paypal won't let me buy something from my own account.....and it works and confirms the order if I pay with a credit card (ie not use my paypal account because I cant) I called the customer who I received the payment from and verified that he used his paypal account to pay and not a direct cc entry. I was tempted to try a older IPN handler (because my old shop worked fine) But I some how doubt this part is going to be very interchangable looking at all the differences in code.

I just did some fiddling so I guess I will wait for another orderless payment to see if it made any difference or not.
