USPS Module not working

Ver v1.3.9h
No customization

USPS was working at one point upgraded from a previous version, I forget. However here is the error message that I get when turning on the debug for that module:

(You can turn off this debug email by editing your USPS module settings in the admin area of your store.)

Any help will be appreciated

Not sure if this is related but also have this error message in my admin:
Shipping Configuration errors!
The parameters set in Package Dimensions Config #2 are invalid, please enter valid shipping parameters. Current setting will be overridden with default: 'regular;+'

Make sure that you have the January 2, 2011 C version of USPS from post #26:

Looks like you installed the updated version of the module and then installed the default module.

To get the error out of the admin section you can restore the previous copy of /admin/modules.php

The other option is re-installing the latest version of my module.

My version of the module never used the RateV3 API so this must be from the other module.

I also have a more general option that I have seen other folks requesting but not sure if anything was ever implemented.

I would like to restrict shipping options that are offered based on what is being ordered. Certain food items should only be able to select overnight service. Any advice?

This sounds extremely custom. I gave a code modification example in the mail usps support thread that disables the shipping module if overnight shipping is unavailable.

You would want to take that a few steps further.
