Dont want weight showing!

I am using version v1.3.9d)
and have added in weights for each of my products. I am also using the old Australia post module, which is all set perfectly(postage prices almost perfect) My problem is I'd like to turn off the weight that is dispalyed on top of each product. I have checked the: Product Type Info Page Layout options :: Product - General for weight and this is already set to false.
Is there something i'm missing?
