    Default Site Map Creation???

    Hi Folks,

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to create a site map of the store? I do not yet have one. What is the least painful way to create one?

    Thanks.
    Thank you, Sincerely, MagicMan

Zencart includes a sitemap function for the store.

If you mean a sitemap to submit to search engines, there's this:

Is this correct? I see nothing but some HTML, no sitemap

Is it OK to just send your sitemap location as it is in ZC?
In my Information box is a link to my sitemap---http://www.bonsaitoolchest.com/index.php?main_page=site_map

Can you just send this to Google, or is that lame?

The sitemap for your HUMAN visitors is NOT the same as the XML sitemap Google needs.

You need to install one of the SITEMAP-XML modules, and once installed, set it up to link to your Google Webmaster Tools function.

You can use these external sitemap generators... but the zc modules do a better job.

... and the sitemaps for human visitors are considered very lame and ineffective nowadays. There are better, more user-friendly options for helping your visitors find what they want such as good navigation and jumbo footers available.
