Product Name and Description disapear when opened to edit

I am having a strange problem.

New Zen install version 1.3.9h

Installed on Windows IIS7 with MySQL database version 5.0.45

PHP version 4.4.7

New install with only 1 mod installed (a donation side-box mod) and also installed an inexpensive simple template.

I just started adding products today. All went well until I saw I made a small mistake and went back to edit the product.

The product Name, Description and Price had all blanked out... I canceled so as to not lose my initial data and the product is fine. So I tried another browser and got the same result.

So just to test I created a new product in another category and it did the same thing. I even tried saving it making no changes just to see if the blanks would actually go though and sure enough it blanks out the Name, Description and Price.

I have installed many other Zen Carts but always on Apache, this is the first time on a Windows server... And this is the first time I have seen this problem.

Any ideas what could be going on here?

Guess I should search a little better but it seems like it might be related to my PHP version being lower then 5:

Also, since IIS doesn't play well with the included .htaccess files, you might want to check with your host for alternative security protections.

Thanks for the tip! I ran into that when I was first installing Zen Cart.

I contacted my hosting company and they quickly updated the PHP version for me and all is well again.
