Default 500 Internal Server error - help please?

    I am using 1.3.9h

I was trying to remove the "Powered by Zencart" thing at the top and I deleted some lines and stupidly didn't back up the copy of the file.

I broke my ZenCart and I need help, please!

There is only one thing that we can tell you in a case like this, and that is, restore the files from the original distribution files.

Seriously, there is no other option because if YOU don't know what code/lines you have deleted then what chance do we have?

    Cheers

It sounds like you were trying to remove the LOGO.GIF file that shows up in the upper left of the cart?

Many of us create a logo for our store and use that in place of the file.

You might want to look into "overrides" too so the file does not get covered up with the next version update.
Aloha from Hawaii! (its a dirty job, but SOMEBODY has to live here...)

I was checking my site as I went along and it kept working and then it didn't. I didn't know that there was about a 1-5 minute delay between when a change makes my site stop working, but if a change makes it work again, it's instant.

I don't know what I did, but it worked! Will make a new thread with my other questions.
