Problem updating orders

From time to time, when I try to update the order status in Orders section of admin, I get the following error message in IE

The website cannot display the page

Most likely causes:
• The website is under maintenance
• The website has a programming error

If I click on browser's Back button, I get back to order page and everything is fine. However, if I refresh the page, I get back to Order section with a red X in customer Notified section.

If I get out of the Order section and get back to it again, the order is disappeared! Even though on main Admin page I see the reference to that order.

What's the problem? Is this related to my DB or my hosting company?

1) what version of Zencart? (give the actual version number)
2) if a modern version (1.3.9+) have a look in the /cache folder and see if there are debug logs being generated

I started fresh with zencart version 1.3.9b and then I have upgraded to version 1.3.9h.

I started fresh with zencart version 1.3.9b and then I have upgraded to version 1.3.9h.

Okey doke, you are using Super orders?

I think you may need to update super orders.

There is another thread where Kuroi or Vger mention that the name of this function was changed a while back to stop an error of somesort
Of course i can't find the thread right now

For some reason, I don't remember installing Super Orders!

In any case, I checked order.php, and found the date_diff on line 150 as reported by error log and based on the link you provided I changed it to zen_date_diff.

However, I found the same function on line 56 as well! Do I need to change that one also?

So do you actually have super orders installed?

You will need to ask in that thread for super orders 2, as i am actually not familiar with it, I just recognised the error
