ISSUES with EDIT Products pages - text disappears

Hi,

I am setting up my first shop and having a very frustrating time when I have to edit a product listing to alter description, change qty etc. Every time I click edit ALL Text is gone from product name, product description, part number etc etc - the only existing data from prior to editing is price and qty.

I have done mega loads of re-typing and kinda figure there may be a resolveable issue (ya think Mike??) - but cannot find anything in FAQ's.

Any help is appreciated.

p.s. it only happens in Products / Categories edit, nowhere else
