    Default manditory choice

I am sure I am just missing something but In my attributes - I have made two choices:

    http://www.stitchnframeonline.com/in...oducts_id=1489

As it stands there is a default if no choice is made. My customers don't seem to understand this and do not order correctly.

    Q?
Can I make it so they must make a choice in order to check out?
    TIA

To force a choice of Attributes ... you are better off using Radiobutton or Dropdown and adding an additional Option Value such as:
    Pick one!

    and set as
    Display Only YES
    Default YES
    Sort Order 0

You need to create another OPTION VALUE for your attributes OPTION NAMES, called "Please Choose..." and then assign them to the products.

You then make it a DISPLAY ONLY option value, and make it the DEFAULT value to display. (those little coloured icons in Attribute Controller show you how).

The result can be seen HERE...

If you don't make a selection on the NUMBER of EXTRA cupcakes you want, you can't add the item to shopping cart.
