Longer "document name" and "product name"

Dears,

everything is in the title : The space or number of characters one can enter as title of the document or product (when creating a new product) is limited and sometimes not long enough ...
how can we extend this so I can enter a title that can be as long as I need ?

You will need to use phpmyadmin to edit the field length for products_title in the products_description table of your database.

This will require editing the VARCHAR values in the database. There are SEREVAL instances where this value is represented, and I do know that AJEH posted the list of tables in answer to a recent question of similar nature.

Editing the database is done via phpMyAdmin - a tool that should be available under your hosting account C-Panel.

BEWARE... editing the database is not something an "amateur" should do. Even those of us with a bit of experience will know that a FULL BACKUP of the database is necessary before any tinkering takes place.
