    Default Fedex Shipping Module

Hi, how can I add a Fedex shipping module to my website? I have no idea how to do this. I have zencart version v1.3.9f. I'm pretty new to this. I'd appreciate the help.

    Thanks.

    Download the module here:
    http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=367

    Read the instructions carefully.

If it doesn't work. Read this:
    http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=109401

It's mostly hard work and determination that's required (especially in the beginning).

Hi, I'm not receiving the error that I mentioned in the other thread anymore. But now I'm having another problem, I apologize because I'm very dumb for these stuff lol.

On the instructions it says to fill everything except those that should be left to none. That's what I'm doing but I'm not seeing results on my shopping cart website. I know that I might be doing something wrong, do I need a Meter ID or curl proxy? my host is www.justhost.com

Your Fedex Meter ID ( this is auto populated )
    NONE

cURL Path (This ONLY gets changed if your host has mopved cURL )
    NONE

cURL Proxy ( This only gets changed for hosts like godaddy )
    NONE

    Thanks for your help

For the questions regarding Meter ID or curl proxy I cannot help you. Because I don't know.

Try and install the module again on a fresh install of zencart without installing any template. Instead use the original template that comes with each installation (classic). And see whether you get the same error or not.

If you're getting errors you believe are connected to your host, I recommend you trying to contact them.

I posted about this before, I would like to get some more opinions. Any thoughts about which module to use?
    They are both from Numinix.

In order to get the fedex module working you will need to enter the fedex meter id. Without this it will not work. I know it says you dont need to add this and others online say the same but you do. I recommend calling fedex and having them walk you though creating a development account and attaching it to the fedex account number. This will give you a meter id number as well as an authentication number which at this time you dont need. Hopefully the fedex modules get updated when they close the API system on 5-31-2012. At this point you will need that auth. number as well so i would save it.

    Scratch the last comment
    • install numinix Fedex module https://www.numinix.com/zen-cart-mod...vices-shipping. Works great!
    • After you install it go here:
    • sign up for an account
    • on the left click on Technical Resources
    • click on move to production
    • scroll down click on obtain production key
    • fill out the form it has to be according to your fedex records you may need to call them to get it exact.
    • You will get a fedex migration id
    • put your account number and the migration id in under admin -> Modules -> Shipping -> Fedex web services.

Thank you Numinix for the fedex web services mod.

Update if somebody else is having same problem.

It looks like we are using a Legacy API Mod in our cart, and as of June 1, 2012, FedEx retired all API modules and went to Web Services Modules. I got this information from Anthony in Shipping Online Tech Support at FedEx.

    I found this Numinix Download,
a new release as of 6/13/12 - I know nothing about this, but I hope that I can install it and it will fix my problem. Is anyone familiar with this, or is there a better Web Services Module? Thanks for any additional information you can give me.
I DID IT, I actually built a working cart, with the help of so many of you, Stevesh, Schoolboy, RescoCCC, to name a few. I just take one bite out of the elephant at a time and try to keep my sense of humor...
