Is it possible to use the existing Discount Coupon area for other information gathering purposes?
My company does not offer discounts however I would like to use this area to have customers input a code found on the back of marketing material they received. It would be a way for me to collect data on demographics.
If this IS possible how do I change the copy?

You will be able to pinpoint demographics in relation to the coupon number being used for each order. When you receive a discounted order you're able collect the age of the person and the place he or she lives. Just tie the order to the Coupon number (if you where a specific coupon number went it). There are also analytical tools for this. Although I cannot make any specific recommendations for this right now.
