Reviews lost after changing product name

I changed some product names, and all the reviews for them are gone. I'm sure they are in the database, but I was hoping there was another way to get them back.

Well I did look in the database and it looks like the reviews were deleted after I changed the product name. Oh well lesson learned.

That has no effect on the Reviews as they are called based on the products_id ...

I am not sure what would cause you to lose the revies as I cannot repeat it ...

Look in phpMyAdmin at the table:
reviews

and see what the products_id are in them ...

Do you see the products_id for the missing reviews on those products?

On the Products that you changed Product Name, did their products_id change in some way?

Yes, somehow the product ID changed. So It sounds like I will have to find the reviews in a backup and put them in manually.

There isn't anything in Zen Cart that would change the products_id unless you are using some kind of import program that is not managing your data correctly ...
