Thanks, I was reading that it was better to be more specific when choosing the categories in taxonomy for better search results,
Thats fine if you only sells a specific product and can narrow it right down in the tree,,
Just thought it was a big vague in instructions for sites with a varied product range,,
I havent uploaded a finished feed yet, so was just needing to get every question cleared up first,, Thanks
Hi
According to the tools search it doesn't appear in the products but only here:
/home2/effectiv/public_html/fldr/nddbc.html
Line #7 :
/home2/effectiv/public_html/fldr/includes/templates/template_default/common/html_header.php
Line #27 :
Think ive broke something,, i installed numinix product fields to work with google merchant feed, but somehow it has knocked out ceon url mapping, in admin in the products bit ,, the option to tick the box for ceon mapping has vanished??/
Wouldnt have a clue what that means??
Not actually sure if i installed numinix properly,,
I installed the main part of numinix then installed the aditional product field i required which was the upc_isbn , that seemed to have worked as it is in the product page of admin and when i checked the feed the EAN number i included was there aswell??
but it killed ceon mapping in there
Hi
Installed v 1.12.0 1.39h cart
no previous versions installed. new fresh install
Feeds producing double google categories:
<g:google_product_category>Arts & Entertainment > Collectibles</g:google_product_category>
<g:google_product_category>Arts & Entertainment > Collectibles</g:google_product_category>
We get these doubles only when there are no attributes defined, using Numinix xtra fields. If at least one attribute is defined then there are no double google product categories
