I just tried reproducing it and was able to. When I redeemed the gift certificate the amount shot up! So it appears I'll be looking there for the problem.

When a discount code is used at the same time the gift cert is redeemed it will cause a higher total (seems to be a random amount but I am not sure).

    Can anyone help?

I'd suggest you upgrade your zencart installation.

Although there *may* be a solution to this issue via the v1.3.8 series, I seriously doubt that anyone is going to spent the time to look into it for you. Upgrade first, and if the problem still exists you can rest assured that many of us will go out of our way to help.

Not what you wanted to hear, but facts are facts.

    Cheers
    Rod

ps. If it has been working perfectly until recently, then something has changed. If YOU didn't change anything, then who did?

Thanks, I guessed as much, that I'd need to upgrade.

I don't think that the gift cert + discount coupon together ever worked perfectly -- it was a permutation I never thought to test. It always consistently fails and is easily duplicated, just was one of the things I did not think to QA first.
