help question What password is given to the mysql user when installed via Fantastico?

Is it the Zencart admin password that you specify in the install? Better still, how can test this theory out!!!???

    Thanks!

No. (Well, I *hope* it isn't. That would be a security risk).

As long as your site is functional you can take a peek at either of the two zen-cart configure.php files to determine the SQL username/password.

If the site isn't functional (IE, if you are having problems connecting to the SQL server) then the data in these files won't provide anything useful.

    Cheers

thanks for that. I learnt to look for DB_SERVER_PASSWORD and that configure.php holds the keys to the castle, so i better look after it better from now on :-D

    Cheers!
