how do i add a banner to this page index.php?main_page=index&cPath=0. What file do I edit.

That's a URL... not a "page".

Please explain rather, what SECTION of your site you are trying to modify, and what exactly do you mean by "Banner" and exactly WHERE do you want this banner to appear and HOW must it behave? Will it be there just for show, or will it be there for customers to click on (hyperlinked)?

If you give us such vague, meaningless stuff to start with, how do you expect us to offer help?

This is the index page that shows all categories only not the home page. I want to put the banner/ad at the top and bottom for a customer to click on.
