Adding multiple pictures to a product description....

I am using V1.3.9. I would like to add pictures into the product description. I have read till I'm buggy about how you add small/med/large of the same picture but that is not what I want to do.

I would like to have (for example) a front view, a side view, and maybe an exploded view (completely separate pictures)all intermingled in the text description.

There is even an icon for inserting an image in the item description but you can't browse to a picture and typing in a URL didn't work.

I read something about image handler that came somewhat close to what I want to do but I couldn't get that to install/work at all.

Does anyone have any info on how to add additional pictures toy the description of a product?

Upload your images to the base /images/ folder like /images/product_x_sideview.jpg, /images/product_x_topview.jpg, etc., then use regular HTML <img> tags in your product_x description like

<img src="images/product_x_sideview.jpg" alt="Side View" />

If you want to have refined control of the display of the image, you may want to assign a size within the added html. Otherwise it will present itself in the size that it is saved/stored and any other css rules that may apply to images.

Regarding the other small, medium, large image directories (basically), those are included so that when the image(s) are displayed in specific locations they appear as provided in each such location. For example, an image in a description will not appear in a default product listing, but will inside of the product record. (html is stripped from descriptions when viewing a product list to prevent page validation issues by say starting a tag but not closing it because the lext length exceeds the displayed text length.)

Those other instructions you have been reading deal more with providing additional images on the product page so that they can be individually viewed but also associated with a given product.

I am using Zen Cart version 1.5, and loaded the add on for multiple pictures for product; I am using Zen cart Store Manager to import products; from the admin how can I use the add on to load additional pictures for the products? and I mean in bulk, not single product update; also is there a way to import the additional images via zen cart store manager? how?
