Admin approved log in only

I'm almost done with my site and just need a little more help. I've searched and didn't find a clear cut way to make this happen. I need registration to be approved only by the Admin after I receive their dealer application. Since I handle on business to business I can't have customers creating a log in looking at pricing on products and trying to undercut sales on their local dealer. Is there a way I can make this happen?

Sounds like you want both of these in Admin - Configuration - Customer Details set to 1:

Customer Shop Status - View Shop and Prices

Customer Approval Status - Authorization Pending

Thanks for guiding me to the right point. However I think 2 will work best. Since I want people to be able to browse, just not to be able to see prices until authorized by admin. Am I correct in this thinking process?



Also where would I go to add or delete fields? I need something to resemble my Dealer Application PDF located in my dealer info page.

Sounds like it.

Removing fields is easy - adding them, not so much. What exactly do you need to do ?

Looking at your application, it would take a ton of coding to get all that in the create account page. Better to link to that application as it is now.

Well I'm sure I could make use of the fields it already has, the main thing is integrating some of the information located on my dealer application into the fields

Of course the signature, photo of store, and check can be canceled out. Main thing being, how long they have been in business, what brands they carry, etc

Very interesting, in the false account i just setup for testing purposes, I received this email

Dear Mr. elkins,

We wish to welcome you to G6 Distribution.

You are now registered with our store and after you send in a completed
dealer application located under Dealer Info you will have full account

Which I don't recall setting up, but seems to fit perfectly!
