Wanting to change product layout settings

I'm working on a new site: www.hardwoodcanes.com. You'll see that the products image is a small square on the left (too small), the products title is to the right of it (also too small), and the description is below the title. What I'd like to do is have the products title on the top left, have the products image below it, but stretch out across the screen, so the customer can see the entire walking cane lying on it's side, and not just the crook. I want to remove the description. They will see it once they click on the product.

After a bit of digging around, I discovered I can change the positioning of the product name in categories by going to Configuration -> Product Listing, and modifying the Display Product Name option. 1 sets it to the left of the product image, 2 to the right, and 3 to the right of the price. I want none of these. I want the product name to display to the top left of the image, on a single line. I'm sure I'm going to have to modify some php in order to make this work. Can anybody help me?

Okay, I think I'm getting closet. Found the tpl_index_product_list.php file. Seems to be the file I need. I just didn't pay attention in php class. Please help!

Look for Flexible Product Listing in the forum (it is attached to post 50 in its thread).
It has a method for showing more than one element of the product in the same table cell; or you could use the column layout option with one product per row and set the display order, then use CSS to fine-tune it.
