I do regular cpanel server backups and now need to re-upload one of the php files in the backup - the problem is I cannot access what is in the backup
I have downloaded the backup via FTP and once on my pc I need to extract it with winrar (as it comes down as a rar file). I have had a look through the folders but could not find any php files or images etc so spoke to my webhosts. They said the files are under the folder called homedir, and although I can see this folder called homedir when I open it it says it is empty! My webhost said this is because when I open the cpanel backup it is extracting into the windows system on my pc so it 'giving unusual results' however as my pc is a windows system I have no idea how to open it anyway else so that I can view the images on my server and also to view the php files.
Can anyone tell me what program I need to use to open the cpanel backup so that I can view the images and various php files?
