    red flag Urgent help need for payment issue

    Hi folks,

    I had set up my paypal as my own website's payment and it worked fine.

    I am working on my friend's website and I want to use my own paypal account to test that the setting is working and then transfer it to him, what I did is here:

    1. In Paypal account, changed IPN from my own site to his site
    2. In Paypal account, changed the Return URL to his site

    what else should I do? I can't recall anything more than these to enable Paypal in my own website but my friend's website just won't work! After I confirmed the order, it won't take me to the PayPal website!!!

    It would be greatly appreciated if you can sort this out for me, thank you very much.

    Two important things:
    1. Use Express Checkout instead. It's far more reliable.
    2. In PayPal, Leave the IPN and Return URLs set to point to their original sites. Yours points to your site, your frien'ds points to your friend's site.

    Thanks. But I don't want the standard checkout button appears in the page because that would only mislead people.

    Why removing the standard payment doesn't remove the button?

    I figured it out: I need to remove all the un-neccesary payment methods, once that's done, the payment is what I want.

    Although I figured it out by myself but thank you for enlightening.
