Going Nuts !

Hi this is my website:

iv switched my language to utf-8 before it everything was fine.

i have this problem when i switch to arabic language and click on account, ill get a blank page.

iv did the debug and it told me i had proplem on line 1 on arabic.php which is the space before <php but there wasnt any space and iv edited in notepade++

if i use my English language it works fine.

also same problem occurs if i use search in arabic language.

any idea what might be causing this? iv checked everything twice and nothing is wrong in my files no space or miss typed '

iv changed my Arabic folder to English and verse to see if it was Arabic pack was causing the problem and turned out it didn't.. am completely lost right now

If you're using utf8, you MUST save all files as UTF8-without-BOM. If you don't set your editor to save "without BOM" then it'll insert extra invisible code that will cause problems.

BOM = "Byte Order Mark" ... defined further in wikipedia etc if you've never heard of that before.

OMG .. thank you so much.. i spent 4 hours trying to fix this problem.

am sorry to bother you again, after i solved this problem another one appeard.

when i list products in admin it works fine and i can view the charcters . however if i go to the website and go to products and chose arabic language the product names will display as ??????? i have edited all my langauge files to be utf-8

Those ????? are coming from your product names and descriptions, not your language files.

i had a simple mistake in my admin include

my_db_charset.php it was utf8
and on the other file was utf-8

so i just made it utf-8 and it fixed it lol
