    Default EStore Now layout questions

I have just installed the latest ZenCart and the EStore Now template.

I can't seem to figure out a couple of layout issues.

    1. How do I have the Search Box at the very top like the sample?

    2. How do I display the navigation bar that the sample shows just below the logo?

I'm sure these are pretty basic things but I just can't seem to find where the controls on those are set.

    Please help.

The search box at the upper right should automatically appear with the default install.

The menu bar is the EZ-Pages menu. In admn/configuration/EZ-Pages Settings, make sure EZ-Pages Display Status - HeaderBar is set to 1. And, in Tools/EZ-Pages under Headers make sure status is set to active for the items you want to appear in the menu.

Maybe it should but it does not automatically show the search.

Also in the EZ-Pages menu it is set to 1 and it does not display the menu bar in the store.

This is a brand new install and apparently must be uninstalled and then reinstalled since it is not doing the things that it simply should do.

Will this be something that I will need to figure out how to change the code to make it display?

I did try reinstalling both ZenCart and the template and the same problems exist.

This clearly is something that I will need to figure out how to modify the code to make it display. After re-downloading and then reinstalling both ZenCart AND the template there is no change.

Where will I find the code for the content that displays in both of those locations? It is clear that something is missing or has been filtered out somehow.

I have php5.2 running on my hosting account.

    Could this be the issue?

You don't need to modify anything. This template works fine right out of the gate. What version of Zen Cart are you using? Is it 1.50 by any chance?

It's more than just setting the EZ-Pages menu to 1. You also have to set the status for each page to active in Tools/EZ-Pages. Did you do that?

How do I do this? There is nothing to set a status for.

Admin/Tools/EZ-Pages. Across the top are the locations - header/sidebox/footer. Status is set by the green / red icons. Green is on, red is off.

I clearly will need to dramatically alter the template to get it to work correctly
If it's installed correctly, there is nothing to alter.
