Creating the correct store

OK just uld ZC yesterday. I am struggling to find the information I need regarding the type of store that I want. I want to have customers upload to me an image and a description of what they want to sell. I will place it on the site for a fee and charge a percentage of the sale price etc. I also want an auction section, normal ebay type of thing. With this in mind I need to have a form for uploading file and info. I have trawled through tuts and the forum but the only answers I can get are old and they assume you know more than I certainly do.
So, I need to know if there is an element of ZC that does the upload thing(surely there are sites where the customers are sellers too) without me having to attach an external form? I shudder at having to connect the form results to the database! I am imagining that customers should be able to view their items etc.
I really hope this is possible.

This question has been asked many times, and as far as I know there is no way to do that with Zencart. You can search the forums for mall in case I missed something.

You can have people upload their files and descriptions with "attributes" - look in the tutorials for info. There is an "auction" mod in Free Addons (I know nothing more about it).

But as stevesh says, there is no way to automatically have your "sellers" handle their own items or accounts. You can handle them all yourself and pay the sellers as items sell, if the volume is such that you can handle that manually.
