    Default Admin/Configuration area broken. Reinstall?

    Hi,

After a couple of configure.php files broke in the challenging SSL installation, any one of the selections in my Admin/Configuration area results in a 404 Not Found error. Perhaps there are broken files there.

Is there a single file or so that I might reinstall to get this functional again? I'm a little reluctant to do a global reinstall as I've spent some days in customization now.

    Thanks for any thoughts.

If you undo the changes you made to the configure.php file do things suddenly work correctly again?

    Thanks Dr.,

I ended up taking down the whole site and starting again. I had started to muddy around in enough files that I took everything down (including the php database) and started fresh. Ironically enough, several days later, the whole site goes blank -- including admin. Yikes! I learned that there were files in /cache to go to, to troubleshoot, and this led me to meta.php files. So, I don't know if this was the original problem (I would like to presume not), but at any rate, I'm up and running -- albeit with some footwork.

Thanks for the reply. I am grateful as a newbie, as I'm coming up to speed, and much of this leaves me with "where do I even begin" problems. But I'm getting there -- thanks to all of you at this support forum.

    Thanks,
    Don
