Default top level category ver 1.3.9

I put three new products and this is what it is saying below: WARNING: You have Products in the Top Level Category. This will cause pricing to not work properly in the Catalog. Products found: 3.

Now i did some research and they say that because i did not pick a sub category the first time that now all my products are on top level category.

Question, How can i fix this. Do i have to re install? I am so lost. My first time working with zen cart and i already messed up

That only happens if you already have a sub-category setup beneath the top level category. If you want the products in the top level category, simply delete the sub-category/s that lie beneath it. If you want the items in the sub-category, add them there and delete them from the top level category.
