Template problem

Hi

I have upgraded my zen cart from 1.3.8.a to 1.3.9.h. These are the order of what i did.

1. backed up database to a gzip file

2. backed up all files in the www folder in my server

3. on a test domain name installed new zen cart

4. uploaded the images folder to the www folder and the templates folder to includes/templates

5. imported the database

6. patched the database

I setup the config files and also changed the default admin folder name and nearly everything works apart from when i activate my template , the templates seems to install ok but when you click on a catagory and then click on a product the next page is blank apart from the name of the product in h1 tags.

Could anyone please help or point me in the right direction to what i may have done wrong.
