    Yes, that's nice.

I suspect that the features are not isolated to YMLP (YourMailingListProvider.com). Probably standard for Constant Contact, MailChimp and others.

I haven't found a less expensive alternative and it keeps my ISP happy since my number of subscribers exceed the ISP email terms of service for the # of emails per hour.

One thing is that if you ever go back to an automated newsletter app within zencart, you'll have to manually reconcile the unsubscribe list.

Cant you just export and goback to Zen cart or another newsletter app like mailchimp?

That would save from remaking the list with the unsubscribes.

You can export the valid subscribers and import into a different service.

Unsubscribes within the email service is kept within the particular service. The unsubscribes are not transmitted back to zencart.

I just setup PHPList for a client, and we ran in to this issue when we processed her first newsletter. The host had a global throttle setting of 150 per hour. Since her list is about 8500 subscribers, it took an inordinate amount of time to process. I contacted them, and to my surprise and delight, they immediately raised that for her account to 750 per hour.

The moral for those with large lists is; it doesn't hurt to ask!

Thanks for that info. I have another website that uses a cron and was set to 100 per hour for this reason. Never actually considered that my hosting company might raise the limit. Ill ask them.

    Thanks

When you contact them, emphasize that your list is 100% legitimate, (hopefully double opt-in). Some hosts automatically assume that large lists are a spamfest.
