orders not showing up

my business has been running two years and no problems with order before. yet an order just came through because I got an email stating that and a paypal receipt saying an order was placed but when I login to my store, the order is not showing up. any idea why? I can't figure anything out. nothing has changed at all. secondly, is there a way to manually put in orders? because I do not see that anywhere either

Are you using Paypal IPN or Paypal Express ?

What version of Zen Cart are you using? If you have made no changes, perhaps your host has changed something in the server configuration, in particular the database since that's where orders are stored.

First, you really need to consider upgrading your Zen Cart. Version 1.37 has a lot of security holes known to hackers. Second, if you haven't changed anything, and this problem suddenly started, you need to be checking your files against a recent backup for changes. And finally, you should contact your host to see if they made any recent server configuration changes.
