I have finally got to this stage, after reinstalling the program with the FTP uploader.
Now this is as far as I can get

I have changed the permissions as indicated in the manuals etc for the \configure.php files

Your webserver, which is running the Zeus engine, apparently isn't compatible with all the .htaccess security directives provided in the Zen Cart files.
You'll need to work with your hosting company to rewrite the various .htaccess files to be compatible with your webserver's requirements..

so they have made some changes and its still not working ... they are working on it still ... at least now we are getting this page, which we werent before.
