My HTML emails not showing header.jpg

If i leave the HTML templates as the default:
<img src="email/header.jpg" alt="logo" />

The email just displays the red X

If i change it to point at:
<img src="www.rstuning.co.uk/zentest2/email/header.jpg" alt="logo" />

It works fine.

Is this because my site is currently sitting in a sub directory?

I have searched the forum but can't seem to find an answer so any help is much appreciated as I would love to go live with the site ASAP :)

What email-reading-program are you viewing the email in?

Sounds like your email program is ignoring the <base href> tag in the email, and thus can't find the image properly. If that's the case then either you need a smarter email program, or you'll need to manually edit all the html-email-templates to stuff a complete URL into them so that your email reading program's limitation can be overcome.

I can't replicate your problem when using a fresh clean uncustomized install.
