Uk Postage Option Issues

Hello. I am a uk seller and have been trying to set up postage for the UK. I have installed the basic Royal Mail package on zen cart 1.50. It did not say that it had been updated for 1.50 however I did not think a package like this would of had any issues with 1.50. The problem that I have been having is whilst trying to set the postage option up. After adding all info and saving the small dot to the right stays yellow and does not turn green. I have tried testing the postage options as a customer and they still show up as options but show ridiculous shipping costs. Since there is nothing to the installation then I can only presume that there is some kind of incompatibility with 1.50. If anyone has experienced this issue or knows of any other royal mail packages that work on 1.50 then id be appreciative

Iv added a product to the cart and above the shipping options it clearly says Total Items: 1 Weight: 0.098Kgs Amount: £8.95

Yet the postage options show something completely different, 1 example is as follows:

Royal Mail 1st Class Standard (Delivery Weight : 1 package of 3.098 Kg's (Ships normally within 1 to 3 days))

It somehow seems to be automatically adding 3 kilos to the order?

Although the tabs on my shipping option are still not turning green i think they seem to be working.
