Relocate my store to home page

Hi I am trying to change my home page from /shop to just the normal url.

This is how I interpret that it's done can anyone please verify this..


1 I need to empty everything out of the /shop up a folder level to the hmtl area.
2 Edit shop/includes/configure.php (remove /shop/)
3 Edit shop/admin/includes/configure.php (remove /shop/)
4 Delete current index.htm

Is this it ..

In a nutshell, yes. There are numerous places in the configure.php files where you need to remove the /shop; be sure you get them all.

Or is it

define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/admin/');
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/admin/');

Neither :)
Remove /shop or shop/, whichever makes sense in context, but not just shop or /shop/.

I went to this location but I cannot find the download tool

Fix Cache Key Utility from the Downloads > Troubleshooting Tools area on the main Zen Cart® site will help you to do this if you need assistance. There is no harm running it to have it check that things are set properly. Be sure to delete the file from your server when done.
