    help question File uploader

Can someone tell me if it is possible to create a file upload page in zencart? I want my website to allow user upload some files (not necessary images). How do I do this?

    Thank you.

Speaking on the email: can we add a file upload in the Contact Us page?

    Thanks for the reply.

You don't need to know any PHP - that function is built in to Zencart. This thread might be a little clearer:

I created an Option Name called Upload Your Own Image, however, it doesn't show up in the Option Value's dropdownlist. Why? Did I miss any step?

It seems after I add the attribute to the new Option Name, a uploader will appear under the product, however, where is the upload button? there is only a browse button

Even for the browse control, it's too short to me.

I think I got it. The file uploader does not have an upload button at all, in fact, when user click on the browse button and proceed to check out, the file will be uploaded to the website and stored in /images/uploads.

I am still thinking the browse textbox is too short, I am not sure if there is a way to adjust it.

Default Still very confusion on file uploader

Although I created an example of file uploader, ironically I can't replicate it on my local.

    Here is what I did:

    1. I created a website on my local wamp
    2. In Admin->Catalog->Option Name Manager, I created a new Option Name called: Choose file to upload
    3. In Option Value, I tried to look up for the Choose file to upload which I just created
    4. I couldn’t find it
    5. the list of Option Name contains the newly created Option Name
    6. In Attribute Controller, Add new attribute to the product
    7. Now the newly created Option Name “Choose file to upload” should have been added as a new attribute to product “English to Chinese”

Go back to the website and select this product
    8. It's not there
    9. However, on my live website, the uploader is there

I have uploaded all the screenshots for each steps above, it would be greatly appreciated if any one can tell me what is missing and how to fix.

Thank you very much in advance.
