    Default Header becomes hidden behind web browser

    I am running V1.3.9h and my website seems to be coming together. www.twirlywhirlydesigns.com. I am using IE9 and occasionally for what seems like no reason, my header seems to get stuck behind the top menu bar of my web browser so that I can only see half of my logo. I've changed the header padding or margin and even the logo padding and it pushes it down but there is so much white space that I eventually change it back to bring it back up and it will work fine again for a while.

    On a friend's computer, they are also running IE9 and when I view my site on their computer, it is always stuck behind the web browser. So last night, I changed the header margin to a bigger margin so that he is able to view it on his computer with no issues. The only thing is that there is so much white space when viewing the site on a different computer and it just doesn't look right.

    Is there a way to force my header to shift down so that it doesn't get stuck behind a web browser but at the same time not have the margin so big?

    That usually only happens (as it does on your site) in IE6 and IE7. The solution there is to change the height of #logoWrapper to at least the height of your header image (65px). You don't have a height set for that rule, so you'll need to add it to the stylesheet. Might fix things.

    Thank you Stevesh. I had a feeling that it was something like that. Can you please tell me how to add that to the code? I'm pretty new to this.

    Place this at the bottom of stylesheet.css:

    #logoWrapper {height: 65px;}

    Unfortunately, it didn't seem to make a difference.

    I don't see it there. If it isn't messing anything else up, leave it in so I can see if it fixes things in IE7.

    It doesn't seem to make a difference on my computer but on his, the logo is now behind the navigation bar. Could it be because he has Vista? I'm using Windows 7.

    I think I fixed the problem! The computer where the website wasn't coming in correctly has Vista and IE9. I updated vista and reinstalled IE9 and then restarted the computer. Seems to work now.
