Default navMain links bumps my logo outside of logoWrapper...why?? CSS?

My first post, just couldn't find the answer anywhere. Thanks for all the great help out there...

My logo in my header gets moved down whenever the navMain links grow to include "shopping cart, log out, checkout, etc." When it does this, the actual logo image is hanging outside of the logoWrapper div.

I cant figure out if it is from the CSS controlling these divs, or if I need to move the code around in the tmp_Header.php file...please help if you can.

    my link is here...www.milocalfood.com/shop

I repositioned the logo image to slide to the left to make more room, but when you log in and have items in the shopping cart, the links get so long that they push the logo down. Im using firefox's developer tools and can see that the divs are causing the images to stack somehow rather than lay on top of each other. Any ideas?

Using FireFox 10.0.1, I don't see the "growth" that you describe.

The only way I can see to fix that is to remove the padding from #logo and the left-right padding from #navMain. The way those elements are coded, they can't 'overlap'.

I think I've got it working by adding a <br /> to the tmp_header.php therefore moving the "login out, my account, shopping cart, checkout" to a new line. Now there is room so it wont conflict with the logo (unless I were to add a ton of links up there).

I still am unsure why the #navMainWrapper seems to sit on top of #logoWrapper and affect the elements inside. Thanks for the suggestions stevesh. Lansing. Whoop! T.C.
