User defined payments

Hello, we would like to use Zen Cart instead of Roman Cart and would like to know if Zen Cart can be set up to use user defined payment amounts, ie a product with a user defined price. We can do this is in Roman Cart ?

I suppose donations would be a similar method

Sure. Set up a product whose price is 1.00
Then the customer can add as many of those items to their cart as they wish, adding up to the amount they wish to pay.
